El año pasado ha sido muy difícil para todos nosotros, y sabemos que vuestra comunidad fue una de las más afectadas durante la pandemia de COVID-19.
Por eso es increíblemente importante que continuemos con los métodos de prevención que sabemos que funcionan. Lavarse las manos. Distanciamiento social. Usar mascarilla, usar mascarilla, usar mascarilla. Y vacunarse cuando tenga la oportunidad.
Nuestro objetivo es distribuir las vacunas de manera rápida y justa para asegurarnos de que podamos volver con nuestros amigos, familiares y los momentos que amamos y extrañamos. La equidad es una de las principales preocupaciones y estamos trabajando de cerca con líderes comunitarios, líderes religiosos y funcionarios de salud pública para garantizar que podamos hacer llegar las vacunas a todos los que las deseen a través de sitios comunitarios y farmacias aliadas.

I’m grateful for Delaware Hispano for letting us share important health messages in this issue.
This past year has been very difficult for all of us – and we know that your community was one of the hardest hit during the COVID-19 pandemic.
That’s why it’s incredibly important we continue with the prevention methods that we know work. Wash your hands. Social distance. Wear a mask, wear a mask, wear a mask. And get vaccinated when you have the opportunity.
Our goal is to distribute the vaccines in a manner that is both fast and fair to ensure that we can get back to our friends, family, and the moments we love and miss. Equity is a top concern and we are closely working with community leaders, faith leaders, and public health officials to ensure we can get vaccines to all who want them through community-based sites and pharmacy partnerships.
If you have any questions about the vaccine, I encourage you to speak to your physician, and talk to your friends, family, faith leaders or colleagues who have received the vaccine to learn more about their experience.
